I present a number of workshops and events throughout the year. These events and workshops are designed to inspire you to want to cook and enjoy eating healthily. They include subjects like:

  • What constitutes a balanced diet

  • Tips to maximise good nutrition in a busy life

  • How to prepare your kitchen with basic equipment and essential staple foods

  • How to prepare, plan and shop effectively

  • Food psychology and the meditation of eating


Most importantly they provide a 21 day menu plan and delicious simple healthy recipes which taste fantastic. The workshops are fun, informal, interactive and a great way to spend time with like minded people. You will discover many ways to improve your own food awareness, health and fitness levels and the wellbeing of others.

Healthy Eating Workshop

Attend one of my healthy eating workshops, held on the following dates:

Programme for the day

Morning

  • Introduction – We will begin with an overview of what constitutes a balanced diet and the basic principles of nutrition. We then go on to discover how our bodies are designed to keep us well and healthy.

  • Shopping awareness and meal planning – I will share ideas and tips on how to prepare your kitchen with basic equipment and essential staple foods, this is followed by a quick guide on how best to prepare and plan your weekly shop.

  • Maximising healthy nutrition whilst ‘on the go’ - Many busy people opt for more unhealthy food choices when faced with eating on the go. This section is devoted to introducing 4 super ways to keep healthy whilst on the run together with simple ideas for preparing a number of quick, easy and nutritious meals.

Lunchtime

  • Cooking demonstration and lunch – We will all share and prepare a delicious, healthy lunch. During lunch I will give you lots of healthy eating tips and ideas, as well as answer any of your questions.

Afternoon

  • Practical and Finish – We will discuss the effects our thoughts and beliefs have on our eating habits. You will then have the opportunity to set your own healthy eating goals. This exercise will help inspire and motivate you to integrate these new goals into your everyday life.
